Puurs-Sint-Amands – Fedrus International NV takes minority shareholdership in Aerobel NV
Fedrus has acquired a minority stake in Aerobel, a Belgian high tech start-up company with an advanced high level research department.
The company brings to market a pioneering, vertically integrated manufacturing process for aerogels and aerobinders. Starting from waste or natural resources and converting them into high-quality green chemicals Aerobel’s mission is ‘to provide the European market with innovative & ecological insolation raw materials of the highest quality’.
By this investment Fedrus can support the growth of Aerobel. Aerobel continues to operate on a standalone basis and will not be integrated in the Fedrus businesses.
